                                    About 50 residents of Waddington

Peter Brier and Roger Pring gave a report on progress to date and where we go from here

Roger also talked about the Blight issue.  Mike Humphries briefly outlined how publicity had helped.

Financial Report by Tom James, Treasurer:

Balance at 1 February 2007 - £1765.98.

Quiz nights are averaging between £350 - £500.

A few questions were asked by residents, one of these was:  “Did SSM (Transport Planning Consultants) give detailed reports”?  - They did and a breakdown of these will be put on the WASBO website in due course)

It was proposed from the floor that WASBO continue but only on a watching brief.

For this we needed the approval to change the Constitution of when Committee Meetings would be held.

Article 4 – Meetings, Section 2 to now read –

“A meeting will be called as and when it is deemed necessary” instead of  “The Committee should hold meetings on a regular basis and at least once each calendar month”.

This was proposed by Tom James and seconded by Beryl Pring and the meeting agreed.

The election of officers:

Secretary – Beryl Pring   = Proposed by Peter Brier

                                        Seconded by Tom James

Treasurer – Tom James   = Proposed by Peter Brier

                                         Seconded by Roger Pring

Chairman – Peter Brier   = Proposed by Tom James

                                        Seconded by Graham Woolsey

The meeting agreed.

A vote of thanks was given by Mr. Robert Cook of Waddington.
